Typical dimensional targets for our blown-film poly bags and tubing.

Poly film moves — it stretches, relaxes, and shifts with heat and handling. The tables below show the typical manufacturing tolerances we work to on standard blown-film bags and tubing. These are conservative figures for general production — day to day we usually run well inside them — and more precise tolerances are available upon request when your application calls for them. The controlling tolerances for any order are the ones stated on your quote or specification sheet.

Bag & Tubing Width

Thickness is stated in mil (0.001″). Nominal mil is an average across the film web, measured per our in-house quality procedures.

How to read these numbers. These tolerances reflect normal blown-film and converting variation on standard products. Because we extrude, print, and convert in-house, we can hold tighter dimensions when an application requires it — automated lines, tight-fit packaging, print registration.
